INTRODUCTION


Chess is a timeless strategy game where two players compete to checkmate each other's king. Strategically place your pieces on a checkered board and use your analysis and tactics to anticipate your opponent's moves. The first player to checkmate the opponent's king emerges as the victor. A classic combination of strategy, intellect, and foresight awaits!


RULES


  • Setup: Position your pieces on the chessboard according to the standard starting arrangement. Each player has 16 pieces, including one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.


  • Gameplay: Take turns moving your pieces to attack the opponent's pieces, defend your own, and control the board.


  • Capturing: Capture your opponent's pieces by landing on their occupied squares. Each piece moves and captures in a specific way.


  • Checkmate: Continue until one player puts the opponent's king in a position where it cannot escape capture. This is called checkmate and results in a victory for the player who achieved it.
